Terracotta Cafe

One of the best places to have great food. Loved all the food that we ordered. Right from hot chocolate to pizza to fried rice, everything was so delicious. A must visit place if one is near to Assi ghat. We had their mushroom, paneer and pizza. Paneer was soo fresh and delicious. Loved the atmosphere.

Everything I ate was delicious. Went 3 different days and had about 5 different dishes. They were all some of the best food I’ve had in Varanasi. Plus the service is great. The boys are super friendly.

The place has such a cozy vibe that you instantly love it! The interiors are warm and aesthetic, making it the perfect spot to relax. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish we tried was full of flavour. We tried - Aloo & Pyaz Paratha, Arrabbiata Pasta, Tomato, Cheese & Pesto Sandwich, along with a Cappuccino. From presentation to taste, everything was spot on! The staff were extremely kind and welcoming too. It might take a little effort to find this place though but once you get here, you'll be so glad you did.

Amazing cafe! We were here every evening for the vibe and food! Loved their hot chocolate and caramel slice! Everything else is great too :) Highly recommend this place if you’re ever in Varanasi

This beautiful cafe exudes earthy vibes and is nestled across a hidden pathway. It boasts seating on two floors. The ground floor features an indoor seating area with tables and chairs, while the first floor offers an open space with floor seating, creating a relaxed atmosphere where one can simply unwind and let time pass. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance make the space feel like home. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee and Terracotta Breakfast, both of which were satisfactory. The scrambled eggs and roasted potatoes were particularly delicious. Overall, this place has great vibes and is definitely worth a return visit.

We were looking all around for a place to realy calm after all these sensations here in Varanasi. And with the Terracotta Cafe we found it. Unbelievable nice stuff, very good food and such a chilled atmosphere. And the coffee is the first good coffee we drunk in India. Thank you for this experience!

The just love the vibe of this place and their hot chocolate-couldn't appreciate you enough. The staff is a little bit off but not complaining. Else a perfect place to hangout with your gang.

We stumbled across this little gem of a café during our travels, and it quickly became a highlight of our trip. After weeks on the road, it was such a treat to find a really good flat white — easily the best we’ve had in a long time. Strong, smooth, and exactly what we were hoping for. The café is Australian-owned, and that influence really shows. Paired with the warmth and friendliness of the Indian staff, the whole experience felt welcoming and relaxed from the moment we arrived. The service was genuinely kind and attentive without ever feeling over the top. The ambience is lovely — comfortable, stylish, and easy to settle into. It’s the kind of place where you can happily sit and unwind. The food is also well worth mentioning. The homemade banana chocolate muffin is a must-try — fresh, moist, and absolutely delicious. The pizzas were equally impressive: so fresh, full of flavour, and not greasy at all. Overall, a fantastic spot with great coffee, delicious food, and wonderful service. Highly recommended
